Pride and Community

First Baptist Church of Amarillo, TX has a lot of pride in the city and their community. The church sits on one of the main thoroughfares to downtown Amarillo, so it’s one of the first buildings you see as you approach the city. The city is in the midst of a major downtown revitalization and First Baptist Church is using this time to do its own renovations. The church’s focus includes the local community and international outreach. Dr. Howard Batson, pastor of FBC, participates on the revitalization board for Amarillo. He has also stewarded FBC to build a vibrant community with strong programs that are reinforced regularly across their communication materials. Their message and branding reflects their presence in Amarillo and their outreach programs in their marketing materials and even their offering envelopes.


The church is beautiful and inspiring. They moved the original structure onto the current campus and have preserved it. The first picture is that original structure. The second picture is the newly renovated FBC Amarillo.
